Strong east winds and powerful storm fronts have changed the south end of Lake Michigan this week, scattering the fish. The coho have all but vacated the premises…but the kings are moving in! Numerous beautiful spring kings landed this week on Profishient Charters. Best setups were Blood Run 32lb Super Coppers in 50′, 100′, 150′ foot segments and Blood Run Wire divers (oh yeah!) with mini and magnum Silver Streaks. Everything was tipped with Blood Run 30lb Fluorocarbon as usual. If this is any indication of the size of fish to come, this is going to be a very special season..
