Welcome to the Profishient Charters Lake Michigan Fishing Report Page.   We will keep you updated throughout our season with fishing reports from Michigan City beginning in April and then reports from Saugatuck starting in May and running through October.

 April 29, 2008:   Fishing has come to a grinding halt out of Michigan City this week, similar to last year around this time.   High wind and waves have scattered the fish all over this end of the lake and keeping up with them has been tricky.   Best catches are to be had offshore from 100-165 FOW with small pockets of coho and lake trout being caught.   We are still waiting for some kings to show up, but for the most part they have not yet in the southern end of the lake.   Things can change quickly, and we hope it does by the time we arrive in St Joseph next week.
